Looking for a place to play outside your own four walls? Bring your acoustic or electric guitar and join like-minded folks to play some folk-rock and classic rock – Simon & Garfunkel, the Beatles, Joni Mitchell, The Who, plus songs by modern artists and lots more, in this adult ensemble and workshop. It’s a comfortable environment, and with professional direction, we’ll work to get it all right and sounding good. For those interested, we’ll shoot for periodic performances at our showcase events and at ‘outside’ venues as well.
Players from advanced beginners through intermediate and more advanced levels are welcome. Our custom song arrangements have different parts for different skill levels.
Rehearsals are for 1 hr. 15 mins. per week.

Jazz Guitar Ensemble
Expand your repertoire to learn both swing and latin-based jazz standards. We do a lot of playing, while also taking time to learn jazz and jazz guitar concepts and how to play with a group. Topics include chord voicings and comping styles; learning song forms with intros, turnarounds, and endings; jazz harmony and chord substitutions; how to create good solos, and more. There will also be opportunities to perform outside as well.
To participate, you should be more than a beginning guitarist, but a lot of experience with jazz is not necessary. Please call us to discuss!
